NEW on the Ham Radio Heaven
A quick idea, what I plan for the future.
My children have grown and just moved out of the house. I have now 6000 sq free and not used, I am planning on renting it out to Ham Radio operators who wish to vacations in North Carolina. with use of Equipment.
You can visit local clubs in the Triad Area. We also have the availablity of 3 VE's testers to make a USA licence for Europa Ham operators. (The US goes 2 times a year to Germany to make VE testing for Ovesea Operators). We are able to do it here, with photos taken on testing day. Special event on side at HF and D-Star at that day, ending with a grill party in the evening and much more.
Area attrections within a day drive are: North Carolina Zoo; the USS North Carolina, which allows operation from the new public hamradio room; Wet-n-Wild Water Park; Race Tracks in Wiston-Salem & Concord.
We are close to finishing a nice Fitness Room with Hydro Spa and Sauna .
Plan on having the completion of Renovation sometime the end of 2009. I would like to start the first of the year. I have been already ask by other Hams in Burlington, who can also host some more visitors.
I know this is a new type of vacation and not much is available on this planet. I am planning on taking reservation, but if space is available, I will take last minute booking.
